Gan Aliyah Preschool, our early childhood program, opened in 2014 with an inaugural class of 8 students and 2 certified early childhood teachers in its Toddler program. Now with classrooms for children from 18 months to 5 years old, Gan Aliyah Preschool engages students in creative and inspiring experiences designed to foster their curiosity and exploration. Gan Aliyah is welcoming and open to families of all faiths and ethnic groups who wish to attend.
Our program is fully licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). We offer low student-to-teacher ratios in order to maintain our nurturing, personal, and supportive environment where every student and family warmly welcomed into our community.
Gan Aliyah Preschool and the Temple Aliyah family thrive under the enthusiastic leadership of Rabbi Leslie Gordon, Rabbi in Residence, Cantor Jamie Gloth and Aileen Landau, our Director of Early Childhood Education and Young Family Engagement. All three are frequent visitors to the classroom where they engage with students and families in music and learning, Shabbat and holiday celebrations. Aileen is a daily presence in the school, working with staff, students and families.
Limited spaces are available for the 2022-2023 school year. Click here for Enrollment Information!
Our Mission
Gan Aliyah Preschool is committed to providing a warm, nurturing, enriching and safe environment for toddlers and preschoolers. The curriculum at Gan Aliyah Preschool is rooted in the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World), Derech Eretz (Treating Others Respectfully) and Hachnasat Orchim (Creating a Warm and Welcoming Community).
Our Philosophy
Our program is based on our belief that each child is a unique individual who develops at his or her own pace. Learning at Gan Aliyah Preschool is child-initiated, child-directed and teacher-supported. Our nurturing environment fosters each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual development. We believe it is the partnership between educators and parents that provides an atmosphere where families and children can grow and learn within a supportive Jewish community.
We are pleased and excited to offer our SUMMER HAPPENING with the same commitment and dedication you find in our Gan Aliyah Preschool!
Register your child/children to join us for one or all sessions of Gan’s Summer Happening; we look forward to sharing this experience.
